A vulnerability assessment is a systematic scan of your network, servers and applications to find weaknesses such as open ports, outdated software and misconfigurations. You get a prioritized list of what to fix, in plain English, so you can close the gaps before they become a breach.

Who runs it

Assessments are run by our founder, Juanito Rodriquez, who spent more than twenty years in enterprise infrastructure at MUFG Union Bank, NYU Langone Health and Tiffany & Co., running Citrix, VMware and cloud platforms for organizations where downtime and security incidents were not an option. He holds MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix CCA and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications.

What we check

• Your network edge. Open ports and services reachable from the internet that shouldn't be.
• Servers and devices. Outdated operating systems and software with known vulnerabilities.
• Web applications and sites. Common misconfigurations, missing security headers and exposed admin pages.
• Configuration. Default passwords, overly broad access and settings that weaken what you already have.

What you get

A written report that ranks every finding by risk, explains it without jargon, and tells you exactly how to fix it. We walk through it with you so you know what to do first, and we can fix the issues for you if you'd like.

How it works

We agree the scope with you in writing first: which systems, which addresses, and when. Scans are scheduled so they don't disrupt your business, and nothing is tested that you haven't approved.

What is a vulnerability assessment?

Is a vulnerability assessment the same as a penetration test?

No. An assessment finds and ranks weaknesses across your systems. A penetration test goes further and actively tries to exploit them. Most small businesses should start with an assessment.

Will the scan disrupt my business?

Scans are scheduled with you and scoped in writing beforehand, so they run when they won't get in the way.

How often should we do one?

At least once a year, and again after any big change such as a new server, a new office network or a new web application.
